Partnerships |
ChathamArts strongly supports community partnerships and welcomes the opportunity to work with other local agencies. Our current partners include:
Chatham County
ChathamArts is honored to receive funding from Chatham County through their partnership with the Chatham County United Way. In 2006-07, this funding supports our Arts in Education programs in Chatham County schools and the annual community festival Clydefest.
Chatham County Artists Guild
ChathamArts serves as the fiscal agent our local studio tour as they work towards their non-profit status, as well as sponsoring the opening reception of the Chatham County Studio Tour.
Durham Arts Council
ChathamArts participates in a five county consortium offering Emerging Artists Grants to artists in Chatham, Durham, Granville, Orange, and Person Counties. The Emerging Artist program is coordinated by the Durham Arts Council.
Family Violence and Rape Crisis Services of Chatham County
To celebrate the mutual 25th anniversary of our two community organizations, ChathamArts will offer the Transforming Community for 25 Years Art Auction in partnership with the Family Violence and Rape Crisis Services of Chatham County. This exciting event will take place on March 18, 2007, please see our Calendar page for more information.
North Carolina Arts Council
ChathamArts
serves as the Local County Partner (LCP) for the North
Carolina Arts Council’s Grassroots Arts Program. Through their
services, the NCAC offers state funding on the local level.
Orange County Arts Commission
ChathamArts is pleased to work with the local arts council in our neighboring county, the Orange County Arts Commission, to offer workshops to artists in Chatham and Orange Counties.
