Welcome to the ChathamArts Gallery!

ChathamArts Gallery located at 115 Hillsboro Street in the quaint historic district of Pittsboro, NC features works by more than 90 Chatham County artists and covers a wide diversity of visual arts including pottery, photography, jewelry, glass, paintings, fiber and textile art, sculpture and metal work, stained glass, and more.

The literary arts are also represented with works by local authors of fiction, poetry and lifestyle books. Performing arts includes the Blue Grass Experience and other local musicians. Many of the volunteers at the gallery are the actual artists, so visitors can stop by and often meet the artists.

Each month brings a new exhibit to the gallery with featured artists or themes. Join us at an opening reception on the First Sunday of the month from 12 noon to 5PM when you can meet the artists and see their work. Gallery shoppers can also enjoy strolling Pittsboro’s historic downtown, one of the original "walkable communities" with its antiques, boutiques, general store, soda shop, and other unique shops.

The gallery is open Wednesday-Saturday 11-5 and Sunday 12-4.

Chatham County artists wishing to exhibit their work are encouraged to contact the Gallery at 919-542-4144. Gallery volunteers from Chatham and surrounding counties are always welcomed.
