JULIA MARIA KING
During the last two weeks of May through June, ChathamArts will
exhibit the colorful, textured oil paintings of Julia Maria King.
Born in Switzerland to Hungarian immigrants who fled their country
during the 1956 anti-Soviet revolution, King has lived in Europe
and the United States, moving recently to Chatham County. Her work
has an impressionistic flair reflecting the colors of Europe and
the wide open spaces of Montana. Her newest work is a flower series
to celebrate the arrival of spring.
