Jane has always had a love of color and texture which was expressed when working in interior design and then in refurbishing corporate aircraft.After retiring to NC she began creating beaded necklaces.
She often mixed fiber with the beads in a necklace. This enticed her to pick up her knitting needles again and she began creating scarves. "Neckware by Jane" was born. There are so many new yarns available today. When mixing colors, stitches, and various yarns in a piece , it makes that piece unique.
Jane has a passion for both jewelry design and knitted accessories. When traveling, which is another passion of her's, she is always looking for interesting beads and yarns to incorporate in a necklace or knitted piece. This has become a passion !
Her work can be seen at the Chatham Arts Gallery in Pittsboro and at Lark home/apparel in Chapel Hill. She has also been in numerous Holiday Markets and trunk shows in the area.
