Funding for Artists

Ella Fountain Pratt Emerging Artists Grants are annual career development project grants of up to $1,500 for artists living in Chatham, Durham, Granville, Orange or Person Counties. Grant applications are due Thursday, September 15, 2011 9 pm, at the Durham Arts Council (DAC). Artists' Directory

Chatham County is a 700 square mile treasure trove of hundreds of artists, many of them world-renowned.  

If you're an artist working or living in Chatham County and would like to be added to this directory, please send an email with the relevant information. If you're already on the list, check your entry for accuracy and send us updates so that when our office receives calls for recommendations (which we often do), we can tell the callers about you or direct them to your entry.

If you need an artist or a unique item, use this resource for accessing local creative talent. The perfect piece may already exist and be waiting for you.
